In the May issue of Fiscal Notes, the Comptroller’s office examines the funding and needs associated with the roads, rail lines, airports and seaports that connect the Texas economy with customers and suppliers around the world.
May Fiscal Notes also looks at state government employee turnover. Texas’ fast-growing economy, with a spate of high-paying jobs, has left many state openings unfilled. It’s an issue that could threaten the state’s ability to deliver services efficiently and cost-effectively. |
