This is patently insane. All of it.
Last Friday, the Department of Justice IG released a damning report on Andrew McCabe. Not only did it brand him a liar and self-serving careerist, it offered proof that he was a disloyal crapweasel to his subordinates. When the leak generated by McCabe hit the internet, McCabe called the agents running the DC and NYC FBI offices and berated them over the leak he knew he was behind.
This is how Trump reacted:
DOJ just issued the McCabe report – which is a total disaster. He LIED! LIED! LIED! McCabe was totally controlled by Comey – McCabe is Comey!! No collusion, all made up by this den of thieves and lowlifes!

And he gets this response from Michael Bromwich, who is a former DOJ IG and now Andrew McCabe’s lawyer:

Wow.
I’m pretty sure that threatening someone with a lawsuit over quoting an IG report looks like a better strategy on Twitter than it does in court.
