Sales Tax Holiday Set for Aug. 11-13

Don’t forget, this year’s Sales Tax Holiday is coming up fast! The holiday is set for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 11-13.

What’s Tax-Free?

Texas law exempts the following items, with a few exceptions, from sales and use taxes if priced below $100:

• Clothing; 
• Footwear;
• School supplies;
• Backpacks; and
• Diapers (for babies and adults).
