Revenue Estimate

After the Texas Legislature meets for a regular session, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts releases the Certification Revenue Estimate (CRE). The CRE provides the detailed basis by which the Comptroller certified the budget, revises estimates in the Biennial Revenue Estimate to reflect legislative activity and current economic information, and takes into account final revenue numbers for the recently ended fiscal year.
