How do you treat people? Can you go a day without getting into it with someone? Perhaps you are the asshole, who leaves a trail of anger and strife where ever you go. I can’t have a day without seeing the rudeness, selfishness and the most annoying of all, lack of ethics.
The brown in me has realized the hypocrisy of religion and doing good. Catholic priests are abusing children, Muslim Imams are raping women, and who knows what the rabbi has been up to. I am betting on nothing good. I have had more than one person globally who I admire tell me, never trust a religious man. My own life experiences have proven it to be true.
Religion is like any other industry, its ripe for corruption. Most of the people are not corrupt, however in every industry there are a few who are corrupt. The laws of corruption dictate it to be those who wield the most power. Religion is no different in one sense, however its completely a different animal in another. Religion has corruption at every level. Religion allows even the lowest a chance at corruption. And corruption in the name of God is praised.
Regardless of your religion, you know people who have no ethics, do bad things, and cheat and lie, but if they are pious and donate a lot to the church, they are golden. A man can rape women, steal money, beat the children but if he attends the mosque everyday, eats halal, and gives to the mosque, he is a good man. Bullshit!!!! If you are an asshole, you want to steal, lie, have no ethics, then join a religion, and work at the church during the weekends. Praise your lord and all else will be overlooked. It works at the highest levels.
Politicians in America who are the biggest crooks are always asking God to bless America. They will talk about stealing your health care and pensions but end the speech with “God Bless America.”
I am not religious in any sense, but it seems the corrupt are always asking for God’s blessings. I don’t want God’s blessings, I want to see the wrath i hear so much about. When will lightening strike these people down? When will he judge them? Why wait till death? Lets have the wrath. Unfortunately you cannot get away from the pious. They will be all around you, all day and night. In their head all they do outside the church and mosque is acceptable, as long as they worship and pay a little. When they get caught, they ask for forgiveness and dedicate themselves a little more to religion.
Myself I have changed to where I don’t live for God. I live for the people. If I am wrong I will find out later, but at this moment, I do good because I want to. I help people because I want to. I am not banking any Karma. In fact I have decided the only way to deal with religious people when they start throwing blessings around, as if they have the power or the right, is to fight them at their own game. For every blessing they give me, I give them back God’s wrath.
May God fuck you, May God fuck your family, My God fuck your friends and God Fuck Your Country! Amen.
