Last week I had written about the two evil countries of Saudi Arabia, and Israel, however there is one more which can help make it a trifecta.  The only reason I hadn’t included it earlier is for literary reasons. The article sounded better as take off on “The tale of two cities “.  In reality Pakistan is just as evil and probably more dangerous to humanity.  Pakistan gets it’s craziness from the Wahhabi of Saudi. However they have taken it farther than the teacher. This is the country which shot a girl in the head for going to school.

This is the country which harbored Osama.  This is the country which killed volunteers administrating polio vaccines. Men kill their daughters on a regular basis. Throwing acid on a woman’s face is one of their calling cards.  Funny thing is when you meet Pakistanis’s they all to a man, cause they won’t let women do anything, will tell you about how smart and educated they are.  How smart Pakistanis are in general.  In reality, they are some of the most backward thinking people in the world.  Culturally they are breeding cavemen.

Last week they released a christian woman after 8 years in prison, because she had been convicted of blasphemy.  She was accused of having said something against their religion.  Their supreme court overturned the conviction, and freed her.  This led to uprisings in the country and now the supreme court justices are facing death threats.  This isn’t just some hot air. Years ago, they killed a minister of the government for defending the woman’s right to speech.

The brown in me is caught in the middle.  I know lot of Pakistanis here, and I know of lot of good being done by people in Pakistan, but after many years of soul searching it is my belief you have to put all of them in the same pile.  As long as a Pakistani is not willing to call out his culture, then he or she too, is guilty.  Which is what I tell my Jewish friends and they react the same way. If a jew cannot see the cruelty of the state of Israel and denounce it, then he or she is as guilty.  All these nations have reached a point where all the good they do cannot erase the bad.  Pakistan, Like Saudi Arabia and Israel is in debt to humanity and they continue to run a deficit every year adding to their debt.
