The following research explores how companies are applying a code of ethics to the collection and management of their consumers’ data and the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
Consumers are becoming more cognizant of the implications of digital privacy, with controversies like Cambridge Analytica and Equifax becoming prominent case studies for improper data handling. These companies are also facing growing pressure from governments to regulate and control how consumer data is collected, stored and secured. In response, companies are integrating solutions that mitigate privacy concerns, while also allowing them to reap the benefits of data collection.
