March 7, 2018 Comptroller Glenn Hegar Distributes $671 Million in Monthly Sales Tax Revenue to Local Governments(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $670.9 million in local sales tax allocations for March, 8.3 percent more than in March 2017. These allocations are based on sales made in January by businesses that report tax monthly.
