Independence Day celebrations are planned in and around San Antonio on Monday.  Here’s a rundown of some of the events taking place.

The official City of San Antonio celebration will be taking place at Woodlawn Lake Park all day Monday.

San Antonio Parks Foundation President and CEO Noah Almanza says there will be a carnival, a family pavilion with children’s activities, and a military appreciation zone, along with live music and food booths.
