Gabriel Nila Open Letter for State Representative for House District 46

Friends and family,

In 2016, I started a journey to be the next State Representative for House District 46 and make an impact in our State Legislature. Although I did not win, my campaign had some positive impacts. Many of my students who at one time did not care for politics, learned how state and local issues affect their families. In addition, voters, who were at one time, apathetic to voting in a General Election, came out to support me.

This year, I was asked to run for State Representative again because the goals that I shared with others are goals that many others can agree with: ending the school to prison pipeline, education finance reform, decriminalization of marijuana, and working to end gentrification so families can stay in their homes. These are just a few of the items that I want to work on that will not only help the residents that live in Travis County, but throughout the State of Texas.

I’m asking for your help. I am asking for a campaign contribution so I can help spread the message of the great work that we can do when I get to the Capitol. Will you help me?

Help me get to the goal:
