Have fun in your life. I have stated countless times the importance of friends. However its more important to have fun friends. My life consists of people who bring me laughter every week.
If you are going to have friends, have friends who have fun. Each day there should be joy and laughter. My friends and my soccer team provide that in abundance. My children grew up with these people and I hope they carry forth with that lesson.
The last two weeks my world has been all about the coming bake off between a few players on my soccer team. What is amazing is this has created videos, thrash talking, rules system, and more importantly a gender neutral Sash for the winner.
At our age we are acting like teenagers. There is constant back and forth. I was amazed this week when I asked the competitors for some pics to make videos for their upcoming competition, every one responded and were creative. My daughters and their friends who are here for the holidays could not get enough. Fifty year old men making YouTube videos thrash talking their friends. My wish for my children is when you are past 50, may your friends keep you entertained.
A lot is made of friends in times of need. Yes it’s important. The brown in me thou thinks whats more important is friends who are fun. My week always has laughs. These life lessons aren’t epic rants but simple things and this is very very simple. Have fun friends.
